Canada, with its abundance of lakes and rivers has an extremely rich recreational boating heritage. That this activity is enjoyed safely by millions of Canadians and visitors each year is due in great part to the efforts of boating enthusiasts and experts alike. The CASBA Gala and dinner is hosted in January and recognizes the efforts of the public, volunteers, professionals, agencies and organizations who have distinguished themselves in the fields of boating safety and environmental stewardship. Winners are selected in a number of categories. What makes the CASBAs so very special is that the winners are chosen based on nominations provided by boating enthusiasts… just like you.
