New – NMEA Member Service Helps Dealers Liquidate or Find Products

NMEA members now may buy and sell new and used equipment and parts through www.nmea.org.

This service, available to NMEA members only, is located on the members-only section of www.nmea.org.

There are both times when dealers need to liquidate stock or find older equipment they may be seeking. Members need only go on the home page of www.nmea.org and access the “members only” section of the website through the “NMEA Members” button on the menu located on the left side of the home page. Look for the “Marine Electronics Equipment Bulletin Board – New and Used.” Members may submit equipment or parts to be posted in either the “For Sale,” or “Wanted” sections.

Any member who has forgotten their password may get one in a few seconds by clicking the password link on the log-in page, by calling the NMEA national office at 410-975-9425 or emailing info@nmea.org.

“We are delighted to add this member benefit, the equipment bulletin board, to the NMEA website,” said David Hayden, President and Executive Director of the NMEA. “Dealers have found it particularly challenging to find older equipment and parts. The equipment bulletin board should help solve that problem.”

All listings will be posted for 60 days unless the NMEA national office is informed that the equipment has sold. All listings are vetted by the national office and are then posted to the website.

The association is very well supported and virtually any significant marine electronics company that you could name, was represented there on the Exhibitor list at the Expo as well as all being NMEA members and very supportive of the organization.
