Rec Boat Holdings Adds To Management Team

Rec Boat Holdings announces the appointment of marine industry veteran, Julie Johnson, as Director of Marketing for the company.  Johnson will oversee the global marketing and public relations activities for the three brands of Rec Boat Holdings group – Glastron, Four Winns and Wellcraft boats.

Johnson comes to Rec Boat Holdings after serving in several marketing, communications and public relations roles during her 18-year career with BRP (Bombardier Recreational Products), primarily on their personal watercraft, boats and outboard engine businesses.  Prior to BRP, Julie served in various marketing positions at Wellcraft Marine.  At Rec Boat Holdings, Johnson will be responsible for all aspects of the company’s marketing, communications and public relations initiatives for the three brands.

“We’re very excited to have Julie join our team,” stated Roch Lambert, Group President, Rec Boat Holdings.  “We have great ambitions to be a leading company in how we go to market with our products and Julie’s experience and expertise adds another tremendous asset to the organization to reach those goals,” Lambert concluded.

Johnson will also be responsible for communicating various dealer support programs and retail programs, collaboration with new product development teams and identification of market potential for the brands.  She will manage the day-to-day business relationship with Rec Boat Holding’s marketing communications agency, Traction Factory.
