Shane Turcotte Joins Crestliner’s National Pro Team

Crestliner is proud to welcome Shane Turcotte as the newest member of the Crestliner National Pro Team. Hailing from Goulais River, Ontario, Canada, Turcotte has been fishing for more than 30 years. He launched his professional fishing career more than four years ago, and quickly made a name for himself as a fierce competitor and seasoned educator.

Turcotte splits his time on the water between tournament fishing—on the Northern Ontario Walleye Trail and Cabela’s Masters Walleye Circuit—and teaching others tips and techniques for multiple species through his guide service, Hooked Professional Guide Services and Promotions (www.gethookedontario.com). For the 2012 tournament season, Turcotte will fish out of the recently redesigned 1850 Raptor from Crestliner.

"I am very excited about this new partnership and being able represent Crestliner at the highest level is a great accomplishment,” Turcotte said. “I look forward to sharing all my experiences, tips and techniques with all current and future Crestliner boat owners. Partnering with Crestliner will give me the support to do what I am extremely passionate about—getting out on the water and building awareness of the great pastime of fishing.”

Turcotte serves as vice president of the Northern Ontario Walleye Trail, and is involved in many other organizations and clubs, including the National Professional Anglers Association. In addition to competitive fishing, Turcotte actively supports the boating and fishing industry via his writing and social media.

“I am very excited to have Shane join our team of professionals,” said Lori Kneeland, marketing manager for Crestliner. “He is a true fishing advocate and will bring excellent exposure to Crestliner.”

Turcotte’s nine-tournament schedule for 2012 includes stops on the MWC, AIM and NOWT circuits. He will also represent Team Canada at the AIM event “Canada vs. U.S.” professional Walleye Tournament.
