Kropf Industrial has delivered a new Conolift MML60 to the Eastern Kings Ice Co-operative in Souris, Prince Edward Island. This new lift replaces an aging 35 ton machine, and will provide this busy fishing port with the ability to safely and efficiently handle an expanded range of vessels for service and storage.

Kropf Industrial has just delivered a new Conolift MML60 to the Eastern Kings Ice Co-operative in Souris, Prince Edward Island. This advanced new machine features a 60 ton capacity, and will allow safe and efficient handling of commercial and recreational vessels for storage and service.

The new lift features a Perkins diesel engine, full hydrostatic drive with 90 degree steering capability, and four-point lift functions with proportional controls and two-speed winches. The unit is also equipped with hydraulic sling positioners and digital load gauges for safe and efficient operation.

The port of Souris is home to a vibrant commercial fishery and offers offload and safe berthage for transient fleets along with an ice house, water and power services. The port also is host to a Canadian Coast Guard Search and Rescue Station. By upgrading from their existing 35 ton lift to this new Conolift 60 ton, the port has significantly expanded the range of vessels they can service.
