SENSE 57 – SENSE 51: TWO NEW SAILING YACHTS CUT OUT FOR ADVENTURE

Beneteau Sense2

July 25, 2016

Escape from it all on the audaciously designed Sense 57 and 51, by Berret-Racoupeau, superbly fitted out by Nauta Yachts, offering stunning comfort that will inspire you to set sail. Leveraging Beneteau’s ability to innovate, the Sense 51 and 57 remain loyal to the line’s basic concept. The deck plan is unique: the cabins are located to the bow, so that the cockpit enjoys a lower position. This communicates ideally with the interior spaces: there are fewer steps to reach the saloon making access easier. Thanks to this major architectural innovation, the Sense profile is lower on the water and its lines are sleek.

In the big league

With strong features on deck, the Sense 51 and 57 embrace the aesthetics of the world of yachts. The stemhead and continuation of the coachroof portholes line, renders their profile sleeker than ever. The Sense 51 and 57’s characteristic hulls offer a feeling of great safety, while offering fine speeds at sea. Perfectly balanced under sail and highly manoeuvrable with a limited crew, their cruising comfort is second to none on a monohull. Their destination? The world’s end!

Designed for adventure

The semi-hard Bimini top is a major innovation, specifically developed to shelter the spacious cockpit from the sun and bad weather. It allows you to alter the degree of protection to suit, by simply opening it or closing it manually. For maximum protection, extra elements can be added to close off the cockpit completely. The boat’s space has been rethought: the large swim platform worked by a hydraulic system lifts to close off the cockpit entirely for safety. The exterior galley offers a plancha and a sink cleverly concealed below the helm seats, so that you can enjoy the best of what life offers in the open air. With incredible freshwater autonomy of up to 970 litres (Sense 57) and the possibility of fitting renewable energy sources (solar, wind generator), the two new Senses are designed for ocean cruising.

Beneteau Sense

These two incredibly beautiful, powerful, low-on-the-sea cruising yachts boast optimum sensations in complete safety. The Sense 57 will make its début in the nautical world at the next Cannes Yachting Festival. As for the Sense 51, it will be shown at the Nautic boat show in Paris.
