Attwood announces the release of new LightArmor Plug-In Bases, a complete line of light bases designed for premium performance, styling, and durability.

The all-new Teardrop Series features an elegant teardrop shape with a contemporary, compact footprint. Traditional round and rectangle shapes complete the product offering and all three shapes come in composite and 316 stainless steel finishes. The teardrop and round bases also come in 304 stainless steel.

The LightArmor Plug-in Bases have a new proprietary threaded design feature that not only ensures a tight fit, but also enhances ease of installation. The durable bases will securely hold up to a 72-inch pole light and are offered in 2 and 3-pin options to accommodate task lights. The cover design stays secure while opened or closed and prevents rattling while underway.

The new plug-in bases were first unveiled at the International Boatbuilders Exhibition & Conference (IBEX) in Tampa, Florida in October of 2016 and are now available for OEM orders through your Attwood Sales Representative.

LightArmor has become the premium name in marine lighting and accessories. Each LightArmor lighting product is engineered to be the brightest and most durable to perform in the harshest marine environments.

An anchoring system has two parts: the anchor itself and the rode which connects the anchor to the boat. To be effective, an anchor must have good holding power, and the rode must be strong enough to withstand the strains that are put on it.
