2017 FORT LAUDERDALE INTERNATIONAL BOAT SHOW ANNOUNCES GUY HARVEY AS 2017 OFFICIAL MERCHANDISE PROVIDER

Informa Exhibitions, the organizers of the 58th annual Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show (FLIBS) are pleased to announce that world-renowned marine artist, conservationist, scientist and angler Guy Harvey will provide the official 2017 Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show merchandise this year. An exclusive Guy Harvey design for FLIBS 2017 will be unveiled before the show, which is set to take place from Wednesday November 1 through Sunday, November 5, 2017.

Dr. Harvey, who started his career as an artist selling t-shirts at FLIBS 31 years ago, has been at the show selling his art and officially licensed merchandise, as well as meeting fans, every year since. Other events for which Dr. Harvey has created official designs for are NASCAR, various country music festivals and more. “The Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show holds a special place in my heart, as it helped to launch my career as an artist and has allowed me to be in the public eye ever since,” said Dr. Harvey. “I’m honored to see my art used for this year’s official souvenir merchandise and hope to continue our professional relationship for years to come.”

Fans will be able to purchase short-sleeved cotton t-shirts, long-sleeved performance shirts, posters, drinkware and other merchandise featuring the official design. Official FLIBS souvenir merchandise can be found at three locations this year:

• Convention Center Entrance – booths 4000-4001
• Bahia Mar Water Taxi Barge,
• Bahia Mar, Guy Harvey Official 40′ Trailer, booth 909A

“Guy’s long standing relationship with FLIBS is meaningful for attendees, show staff and exhibitors,” said Mary Bender, vice president of marketing for Informa Exhibitions. “It’s exciting to have him as the official merchandise provider this year.”

FLIBS takes place at seven locations connected by a network of water and land transportation. Show locations included the Bahia Mar Fort Lauderdale Beach Hotel & Yachting Center, the Hall of Fame Marina, Las Olas Municipal Marina, Hilton Fort Lauderdale Marina, Sails Marina, Hyatt Regency Pier 66 Marina, and the Greater Fort Lauderdale/Broward County Convention Center.
