IMTRA has announced the introduction of its new line of re-styled St. Maarten Reading Lights. Featuring beautiful hand blown glass shades in a variety of colors – the elegant line includes a USB port for convenient charging of electronic devices. A perfect blend of old world craftsmanship and new technology integration, the St. Maarten range is perfectly suited for the discerning yachtsman.

St. Maarten Reading Lights are available with martini style and new sphere shaped shades in a variety of colors that are handcrafted by the master glassblowers at the Pairpoint Glass Company using techniques and original tools that date back to the early 1800’s. Based in Cape Cod, Massachusetts, Pairpoint is America’s oldest operating glass company. The St. Maarten range features chromed brass, round and rectangular base fixtures for a sophisticated look.

“Our St. Maarten Reading Light’s provide hand-crafted beauty to cabin interiors,” said Kinder Woodcock, lighting product development manager, IMTRA. “We’ve married artisanal Pairpoint shades with the modern efficiencies of a convenient USB port for charging the latest consumer electronics. The St. Maarten provides a beautiful light source, and a true mix of new and old that will light up any vessel.”

The Imtra St. Maarten lights can swivel 355-degrees laterally and 90-degrees up and down, and can be used with an LED or G4 halogen bulb. The St. Maarten 2 features a round base, while the St. Maarten 3 has a rectangular base. Both models are available with Cobalt-White, Blue and Light Blue Vortex spherical shades; and Seafoam Swirl, Mocha Swirl, Blue-Green Swirl, Tangerine Swirl, Ocean Swirl, Amber, White and Blue Martini shades. Made in the United States, the lights accept 10-30VDC input voltage, are IP20 rated and backed by a 5-year warranty.
