GEORGIAN COLLEGE AND THE MARINE PROGRAMS ARE NOW PART OF THE ABYC MARINE LEAGUE OF SCHOOLS

ABYC and Georgian College

We have just learned that Georgian College and the Marine programs are now part of the ABYC (American Boat and Yacht Council) Marine League of Schools. That means that students enrolled in the Georgian College Marine Programs have an opportunity to participate in ABYC Training and earn credits towards future certification! Check out the link below.

Also, the Georgian College Marine Programs now offer ABYC Certified training to members of the marine industry. There will be an ABYC Systems Certification course held from February 26 to March 1, 2018 at the Midland campus.

ABYC Marine Systems Certification(Midland, Ontario)

This course is designed for experienced marine professionals working with marine systems design, installation or repair and will provide the student with a comprehensive and focused look at the key ABYC standards. Click to see topics covered and register!

The 2024 Marine Electronics Conference & Expo, held by the National Marine Electronics Association, (NMEA) took place September 16 to the 20th in Providence, Rhode Island. Boating Industry Canada was there for the first time and we were very impressed with what we found.

The association is very well supported and virtually any significant marine electronics company that you could name, was represented there on the Exhibitor list at the Expo as well as all being NMEA members and very supportive of the organization.
