Fluorescent lights have been used on boats for years, in spite of their frustrating, bulky ballasts and fragile construction. These antiquated fixtures are rendered obsolete by LED Surface Mount Strip Lamps from Hella marine. They offer exceptional light output and low power draw in a compact, durable and completely sealed lamp that never needs a new tube.

Designed and built for extreme reliability, these surface mount lights are both UV- and corrosion-resistant. They’re sealed to IP 67 standard for long life in harsh marine environments. An innovative built-in switch on the cap end provides convenience, eliminating additional wiring and componentry needed for separate wall-mounted operation.

These compact lights are available in white or warm white, as well as combination models adding blue or red to either. A CRI rating of 85 ensures high color accuracy. Engineered lens optics distribute light without glare.

Their ultra-low profile of 11.14″ L x 1″ H x 0.55″ D accommodates installations in confined interior and exterior spaces such as bulkheads and baitboards. Even with their bright light output of 250 lumens, Hella marine LED Surface Mount Strip Lamps consume less than 3W.
