On June 5th, MarineMax Vacations announced that they are welcoming Cooper Boating as a preferred partner of MarineMax Vacations. The MarineMax Vacations Preferred Partner Program matches the best charter operations around the world with those desiring an uncompromising adventure aboard a luxury charter yacht. Those entering the program must meet stringent criteria before becoming a MarineMax Vacations Preferred Partner.

“We have selected Cooper Boating as a partner, not only because they have the award-winning Aquila 44 power catamaran in their charter fleet, but also for their quality reputation, leadership in the region and dedication to customer service,” explained Raul Bermudez, Vice President MarineMax Charter Division.

Cooper Yacht Charters was started in 1983 by Forbes Cooper, who is often credited as being British Columbia’s most successful boat builder, with thousands of boats on the water here at home and around the globe. Mr. Cooper sold the charter and school business in 1988 and later sold the boat factory to others, although he does still build select custom projects under his WestCoast Custom Yachts brand (many of which are featured in the Cooper fleet.)

Cooper Boating delivers the best boating holidays in the world. The formula includes spectacular people, boats, and processes that have been continually refined since 1983. When combined with the spectacular scenery, wildlife and cruising grounds of the British Columbia coast, Cooper Boating is the preferred choice for the best ‘on the water’ experiences.

“Having the only two Aquila 44’s in the country available for charter establishes Cooper Boating as industry leaders providing a unique luxury offering to those who are new or seasoned bareboat charterers,” said Colin Jackson, President of Cooper Boating.

Cooper Boating currently offers the Aquila 44 as part of their charter fleet in conjunction with MarineMax Vacations. Chosen as the AIM Media Editor’s Choice Award: Best New Multihull 40′-49′ upon her 2014 debut, the Aquila 44 provides the upgraded amenities you expect, complimented by an oversized flybridge with ample seating for a popular and scenic gathering spot. Easy and direct access from the flybridge to bow makes mooring and anchoring a breeze. Enjoy scenic views from the 360-degree galley and salon that allow the stunning beauty of every destination to shine through. This model also features a unique full-beam master stateroom that includes an office area. With a three cabin, three head layout this vessel is ideal for three couples or two families traveling together.

“We are excited about our partnering with Cooper Boating. Now our loyal customers have a reliable opportunity to charter a boat in beautiful British Columbia from an operation that has the same focus of luxury, quality and customer service that has become expected from MarineMax Vacations,” Bermudez concluded.
