IBEX SUPER SESSIONS -MARINA 101 & STUDY TOUR, OFFERED BY THE INTERNATIONAL MARINA INSTITUTE

IBEX IMI AMI

July 17, 2018

The International Marina Institute (IMI) is hosting a one-day Marina and Boatyard Study Tour leading into The International Boatbuilders’ Exhibition and Conference (IBEX), on October 1, 2018. This one training tours 5 marinas in the Tampa area to give an in-depth look at the operations of different types of facilities. At the end of the Study Tour, participants discuss each marina with an industry veteran to gain new ideas to take back to their own facilities and are able to accurately evaluate their own marina.

Registration includes transportation and tours of 5 marinas, lunch, facilitated discussion, and a copy of the group SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats) Analysis.
They recommend that you attend the Marina 101 course prior to the Tampa Marina & Boatyard Study Tour to arm yourself with enough industry knowledge to walk the docks of the Study Tour facilities and see things from a brand-new perspective, from the eyes of a marina manager. Attendees will see first-hand how some of the best run facilities in the Tampa area get it done.
