GRUNDÉNS TEAMS UP WITH SEADEK FOR TWO NEW SANDALS

Seadeck Sandals

Apr 9, 2019

Grundéns, producer of foul weather gear, recently announced the expansion of its Deck-Boss footwear lineup with 2 new models of sandals that incorporate SeaDek Marine Products to create durable, shock-absorbent sandals. The Deck-Boss Sandal and Deck-Hand Sandal both utilize SeaDek anti-slip, antimicrobial footbeds to produce the feel of walking on a soft, comfortable boat deck with every step.

“SeaDek has become well-known for how comfortable it feels underfoot so why limit it to just boat decks?” says Curtis Graves, Grundéns director of product design. “We built our new models of sandals with SeaDek intentionally to be very comfortable to wear but also to deliver the performance that serious anglers require. We’re confident that a wide range of customers will soon discover their favorite new sandal.”

The Grundéns Deck Boss Sandal collection includes two models, the Deck-Boss Sandals and Deck-Hand sandals. Sharing many features including the SeaDek footbed and siped gum rubber outsole, both models reduce fatigue created by standing on hard surfaces and provide excellent traction on the top side of the sandal. The Deck-Boss Sandal also uses a molded EVA midsole for extra cushioning.

In the United States, the Deck-Boss retails for $59.99 while the Deck-Hand Sandal is $39.99. Both are available now at shop.grundens.com.
