PRACTICAL APPLICATION OF ABYC STANDARDS – JUNE 4-5, 2019 – ANNAPOLIS, MARYLAND

ABYC is pleased to announce a new hands-on learning course designed for entry-level marine professionals, marine surveyors, service writers, sales/customer service representatives, and insurance personnel! Students can expect a mix of classroom and on-board learning utilizing the ABYC Foundation’s “floating classroom”, a 38 foot Californian Convertible. Students will inspect the vessel, evaluate it for compliance with ABYC Standards, and present recommendations to the class. 

Course Highlights:
• Gain an in-depth understanding of the ABYC Standards
• Learn how to apply the standards to older boats
• Learn how to identify and document compliance issues, cite appropriate standards, and make detailed recommendations for resolution of the issues, whether for insurance underwriters, boat owners or boat buyers.
