THE Toronto International Boat Show announced that total funds raised at the 2019 January Preview Day was $30,571.31 and is supporting children’s charities, helping kids find calmer waters. 

Those boaters and supporters that attend Preview Day, preview and shop the show and get to be the first to take advantage of the best deals of the season!
 
Funds are equally divided between 3 charities. The Partners are:
Toronto Star Fresh Air Fund
Ontario Sailing Access Boom Program
CNIB Lake Joseph Centre 
 
Preview Day, January 2019 was the 20th Anniversary of this worthwhile event.  Over the course of 20 years, TIBS has raised more than $865,000 for initiatives that are close to the hearts of the boating community.

Unless a boat is secured, it will drift away. If it cannot be attached to something secure, such as a dock, piling, mooring buoy, tree, or boulder, it must be anchored. There is much more to anchoring than simply tossing the anchor over the side.
