GET CANADIAN YACHTING’S BOAT SHOW ISSUE NOW

CY Feb Cover

Jan 7, 2020

It’s our biggest issue of the year – the February Boat Show issue of Canadian Yachting, including a special 16-page, pull-out supplement, Dinghies & Davits – FREE to read in digital format now, or whenever it’s convenient for you!

Because this is the Boat Show issue, we open the editorial with coverage of two other boat shows; the METS Trade show in Europe where Craig Ritchie searches for the most interesting new products and then, Katherine Stone gives us a Sneak Peek of the new sailboats at the US Sailboat Show in Annapolis, MD.

Boat reviews! We start with a dream yacht, the Neptunus 750 Flybridge. This is a design by Canadian Gregory C. Marshall, that marries timeless elegance with stellar performance in a 75 foot long yacht. It’s stunning!

For the sailors, and especially the racers, we review the Beneteau First 53, a gentleman’s racing yacht. It’s our cover boat for this issue. Then, we review the Excess 12 and the Excess 15, bringing the unique performance and remarkable accommodations that only a sailing catamaran design can deliver.

For the cruising power boat enthusiasts, we have the spacious and sexy Gran Turismo 36 with twin MerCruiser 300 V8 sterndrives; perfect for Canada’s market. For the more adventurous boaters, we have the new and very innovative NC 895 Sport with twin Yamaha outboards and a host of features for exploring, diving, fishing and taking your summer toys on the trip.

For the cottage market and the fishing outdoor enthusiast, we have the Boston Whaler 230 Vantage equipped with a Mercury 350 Verado outboard; lots of great new boats to enjoy as you plan your visits to the boat shows!

And don’t forget the special 16-page, pull-out supplement, Dinghies & Davits. The little boat is your most important boat in many ways, and choosing the right dinghy with the right features is the starting point. Cruising instructor and noted boating author, Rob MacLeod tackles these questions and more. All this in the complete February 2020 Canadian Yachting magazine in digital form.
