2020 AMERICAN BOATING CONGRESS – ALL EVENT MATERIALS ON NMMA’S WEBSITE

ABC Webinar

May 26, 2020

Especially with the global uncertainty from COVID-19 and how that may affect boating in Canada and in the United States, Boating Industry Canada was very interested to join the live, online virtual 2020 American Boating Congress organized by the NMMA.

These two free sessions each ran an hour and a half on May 13 and 14 and covered a number of important topics. The boat business in Canada is very closely tied to the boat business in America and we felt it was a critically important time to learn what was happening by being a part of the 2020 American Boating Congress. In previous years, the event has been held in Washington and would have required travel but the 2020 virtual sessions were open and cost nothing to attend.

With a record-breaking number of attendees, excellent lineup of speakers and discussions, and one of the highest levels of grassroots engagement, the virtual 2020 American Boating Congress has been deemed a success by NMMA and its partners. To ensure all industry stakeholders have access to ABC 2020 materials, NMMA has posted the items on its website.(https://www.nmma.org/advocacy/abc)

Links to the presentations from both days are available here:
• Day one — Wednesday, May 13
• Day two — Thursday, May 14

Both presentations, along with all ABC 2020 resources, are available on the event landing page, which is available here

NMMA thanks everyone for an excellent ABC 2020, especially the event sponsors: American Sportfishing Association, Brunswick, Chaparral/Robalo, Suzuki, and Yamaha.

We thank the NMMA for making this opportunity available to the industry.
