HANDS-FREE SMARTPHONE CONTROL WITH THE JBL CLICK

Hands Free Smartphone Control

Feb 16, 2021

The JBL Click Bluetooth® wireless controller from Prospec Electronics adds fingertip control of music and call functions to any Android or iOS smartphone. Quickly mounted on a steering wheel or handlebar, the waterproof device allows the user to stay focused on driving instead of reaching for their cell phone.

Connecting wirelessly via Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE), the JBL Click has a single turnable and clickable knob that’s intuitive to use. It controls the smartphone’s play/pause, next track and volume up/down functions. When the phone rings, users can accept a call and hang up when finished, or reject it—all while keeping their hands on the wheel.

With a fully adjustable silicone strap, the JBL Click is fast and easy to install and remove. Waterproof to impressive IPX5 standards, it’s ideal for varied applications such as boats, many PWCs, UTVs, ATVs and golf carts. It has a power-saving mode that lengthens the life of its included CR2032 battery to up to 10 months before needing replacement.

The JBL Click is compact, roughly the diameter of a quarter. Lightweight, it’s a mere 1.3 oz. Available from Prospec Electronics, it costs $39.95 USD.
