Flow-Rite debuts Marine Bundle plumbing solutions

Flow-Rite Marine Bundle Plumbing Solutions

Sept 14, 2021

When installing boat plumbing systems, tracking down missing or incorrectly sized parts is frustrating and a waste of time. With the six new Marine Bundles from Flow-Rite, OEMs, service techs and DIY boat owners get it right the first time. Built around the innovative Qwik-Lok™ connector, they include everything needed to install standpipe drains, bilge pumps and Flow-Rite’s PowerStream Pump-Out Aerator Combo system. They debut at IBEX, September 28-30, Tampa, Florida, booth 3-631.

The 1-1/8″ Standpipe Drain Bundle is engineered to make plumbing a livewell a breeze. It includes a 12″ standpipe, 6′ of premium hose, a 1-1/8″ thru-hull elbow, a straight thru-hull and two Qwik-Lok fittings.

Flow-Rite’s innovative PowerStream Pump-Out Aerator Combo replaces traditional recirculation pump out systems. By pulling its red aerator head, water diverts from the livewell to the included pump-out thru-hull. This allows for exceptionally fast well draining, either at day’s end or when water needs refreshing. All parts and fittings are provided, including 8′ of hose and four Qwik-Lok connectors.

The Bilge Bundles are available in 3/4″ and 1-1/8″ versions, with or without a 1,000 gph pump. The comprehensive system takes the guesswork out of water removal while delivering worry-free operation. All required components are provided, including two Qwik-Loks.

Unlike traditional marine plumbing connection methods, Qwik-Lok male and female ends are fitted prior to installation. This allows the hose to be attached without tools; they simply slide together. Waterproofness is ensured with O-rings, latching arms and a locking ring. The entire process can be accomplished one-handed. Flow-Rite Marine Bundles range in price from $33.99 to $96.99 USD.

Since 1981, Flow-Rite has manufactured a wide range of injection-molded fluid control components, including single-point battery watering systems. Its marine line includes livewell, baitwell and ballast solutions with unique Qwik-Lok™ connectors, as well as the innovative Remote Drain Plug. Its products are made in the USA in an ISO 9001:2015-compliant facility using green manufacturing processes and materials.

The association is very well supported and virtually any significant marine electronics company that you could name, was represented there on the Exhibitor list at the Expo as well as all being NMEA members and very supportive of the organization.
