SAILING IN CANADA launches across the country

Sailing in Canada

Jan 11, 2022

The first issue of Sailing in Canada, a brand-new digital digest produced by Canadian Yachting Media in partnership with Sail Canada, the national governing body for the sport of sailing, was deployed last Wednesday and has already proved a hit. Sailing in Canada is now the only national voice of performance sailing with a lineup of top experts weighing in on racing news and tactics, performance cruising, top Canadian sailors, and specialized gear that those involved in the sport genuinely need.

The new publication will be distributed to a rapidly mushrooming request list of engaged sailors providing a Canadian perspective that has largely been unavailable. Although US and international publications are distributed north of the border, relevant news content about our national sailing pursuits and heroes were not consistently offered in any media outlet.

Sailing in Canada also provides information on gear and vendors that Canadians can directly access along with product prices and specs that Canadian sailors can rely on. The result has been impressive – the day after deployment, the open rate for Sailing in Canada was already at 73.9%!

Subscriptions to Sailing in Canada are available at no cost through this link and the digest has its own permanent website at sailingincanada.canadianyachting.ca.
