In a recent Mercury CEO Letter, David Foulkes wrote, “I have recognized some people who announced their retirement after three and sometimes four decades of service to our Company. But it’s not often I have the opportunity to recognize someone who has spent 50 YEARS working with us. After an impressive half-century career with Mercury Marine, Les Sparks, Business Development Manager for Mercury Canada, will be retiring at the end of the year. During his career with Mercury, Les has been devoted to serving marine dealers, OEMs, and marina owners across Canada. There are few people in the marine industry in Canada who don’t know Les, and his passion for boating and the marine industry in Canada is peerless. On behalf of the entire Company, congratulations Les on a wonderful career – we wish you and your family a very happy and healthy retirement.”
At the recent Boating Ontario Conference, Les Sparks, Business Development Manager for Mercury Marine in Canada who handled the vast territory of Ontario/ Manitoba/ NWT/ Yukon was recognized with a special Lifetime Membership award at the Conference Awards Dinner.
