2023 Schaefer Yacht Give-Away

Schaefer Yachts

June 26, 2023

Greg Marlo, CEO of Yacht Solutions and lucky winner Ryan Poulter on the Schaefer 400

The 2023 Schaefer Yacht Give-Away Winner is Ryan Poulter from the Hamilton area. Ryan feels like a very lucky man with a partner that is equally thrilled about getting out on the water together and sharing some boating experiences. Ryan is an avid boat owner and he’s been boating since he was 9-years old.

Both Ryan and his partner Melissa Van Sco love boating in Lake Ontario and have owned a 32’ cabin cruiser based in Hamilton for the last 4 years. Ryan is a contractor and Melissa is a real estate agent. They enjoy reading CanadianYachting magazine and are familiar with Schaefer yachts and have followed them since their introduction into Canada three years ago. They go to boat shows and last attended the Fort Lauderdale Boat show and Toronto Boat Show.

Ryan and Melissa are both very excited about getting out on the Schaefer 400. One of their favorite boating activities is to dock at Hanlan’s island wall for overnight and weekend escapes. They enjoy the Toronto Islands as they can take in the beach and park like setting. They frequently meet up with friends, enjoy taking walks and relaxing during the day and as evening sets in, watching the sunset, building a bon fire and camping out on the boat.

Ryan loves the spaciousness below deck with two staterooms both with ensuites. This also includes a well-equipped galley and salon area complemented with a full entertainment system. Up on deck, he loves the convenience and easy operation of the hydraulic platform, large circular seating area, teak table and a gourmet centre BBQ. The elegance and sleek lines are enhanced with real teak decking inside and out.

There were over 630 contest entries for the Yacht Solutions Yacht Give-Away. The Fractional Yachting program is a great way to segway into ownership. This exclusive ‘Lease to Own’ or ‘Try Before You Buy’ program is a smart way to check out a boat. Yacht Solutions provides a full yacht management service including being able to administer Fractional Ownership options as well as create revenue on your yacht as a business.

We want to thank Canadian Yachting Magazine for being our media partner in this contest give-away. If you are looking to buy a new boat, check out the exclusive programs at www.yachtsolutions.ca.
