Push pole holders hide from lines and toes

Push Pole Holders

Sept 3, 2024

When chasing wary fish in skinny water, a push pole can make or break the day. However, securing these long items on deck has always been problematic, especially when hardware creates a snag point. Innovative Flush-Mounted Push Pole Holders from Accon Marine are the smart solution. They flip down into their base when not in use, and quickly pull up when needed.

Built from polished marine-grade 316 stainless steel, 708-Series Flush-Mounted Push Pole Holders have durable UV-resistant glass-filled nylon hooks. The 6.02″ x 2.73″ hardware sits high enough off the deck that riser shims aren’t needed. When folded down, they’re barely noticeable.

A typical Accon Push Pole Holders setup uses three holders, with the center hardware mounted in the opposite direction. Using the springiness of the pole itself, tension secures the device against the other holders. The 708-R Ring Pole Holder provides added security, while optional Waterproofing Cups control drainage.

Ideal for DIYers and OEMs, installation is straightforward. A 4-13/16″ x 1-3/8″ opening is cut, four #10 pilot holes drilled and the hardware screwed to the deck. An installation video is at www.bit.ly/AcconPushPoleInstall.
