Premium grab rails install virtually anywhere

Schmitt Marine Grabrails

Nov 26, 2024

Many boats have that one ideal spot that’s comfortable and has a great view, but nothing to hold onto when seas get rough. The solution is to add a Schmitt Marine 9″ Grab Rail. Offered in top- and under-mount versions, they offer OEMs and DIYers a simple way to add luxurious yet practical grab hardware to virtually any onboard location.

Schmitt Marine Grab Rails are manufactured from 316 cast stainless steel polished to a mirror-like finish. A black Santoprene insert has the appearance of perforated leather. Tough and abrasion-resistant, the rubber provides a solid, comfortable handgrip, even when wet. The Grab Rails match any marine décor, whether classic or contemporary. Custom insert colors are available to OEMs.

Installation of the Top Mount Grab Rail is through flaps in the rubber insert that lift and provide access for 1/4″-20 screws. The Under Mount model installs from below using threaded studs. Once in place, all hardware is completely hidden for a custom-finished appearance. Schmitt Marine Grab Rails have a lifetime warranty on the stainless steel and three years on the grip.
