Seakeeper Ride Now Available for Boats Up To 55 Feet

Transom Four Controllers

June 3, 2025

Five new models launch to accommodate larger boats

Seakeeper, Inc., the leader in marine motion control, announced the launch of five new Seakeeper Ride products, making complete underway stabilization available for boats 43-55 feet in length for the first time.

The new products include the Seakeeper Ride 900, Seakeeper Ride 1050, Seakeeper Ride 1125, Seakeeper Ride 1275 and Seakeeper Ride 1500. Each new product will consist of four controllers. The number in the product name indicates the total span, in millimeters, of the two blades placed on each side of the transom.

“The demand for Seakeeper Ride is growing rapidly. With standardizations on more than 125 models across 25 builders, plus 111% refit growth from Q1 2024 to Q1 2025, it’s clear that customers are demanding the performance that only Seakeeper Ride can provide,” said Seakeeper President and CEO Andrew Semprevivo. “Owners of boats in the 55-ft. size range know Seakeeper better than most, as we’ve offered the Seakeeper gyro in that size range the longest. They expect excellence from us, and we know we can deliver.”

Sizing and product selection will be done individually to meet vessel stabilization needs due to variations in hull design and function (e.g. a 55-ft. center console vs. a 55-ft sportfish). Like the Seakeeper Ride 750 and Seakeeper Ride 750 Quad systems, these new products are designed with aluminum components for purposes of added strength. In U.S. dollars, Seakeeper Ride 900 will retail for $23,500, Seakeeper Ride 1050 for $26,500, Seakeeper Ride 1125 for $29,500, Seakeeper Ride 1275 for $32,500, and Seakeeper Ride 1500 for $35,500, but will be offered initially at an introductory discount. All new products are available for immediate shipment directly through Seakeeper for OEM partners and through a global dealer network for aftermarket refits.

Seakeeper Ride now offers systems for boats ~19-55 feet and is available for stepped or non-stepped, fibreglass or aluminum hulls equipped with a compatible MFD. Seakeeper Ride controllers mount to the boat’s transom below the waterline. Using proprietary inertial sensing hardware and software, the system takes 1,000 measurements per second to understand the boat’s behavior in all three axes. It then commands deployment of custom-designed rotary blades below the boat’s running surface, making 100 adjustments per second, to create lift that automatically manages the vessel’s motions.
