Thomas Groves

Aug 12, 2025

Since joining Legend Boats, Thomas has been a key force behind the brand’s evolution, quietly driving major wins across national campaigns, retail engagement, digital innovation, and product launches. His contributions have helped shape the way Legend communicates with customers, supports its dealers, and presents itself across all platforms.

“As many of you know, Thomas has been a core part of our marketing team, quietly leading some of our biggest wins behind the scenes,” said Jamie Dewar, Co-CEO of Legend Boats. “Whether it’s our evolving digital presence, strategic campaigns, or major product launches, Thomas has had his fingerprints all over it. This new role gives him the ability to truly own the marketing strategy for Legend Boats and shape how we show up in the market across all platforms.”

As Director of Marketing, Thomas will oversee Legend Boats’ national brand strategy, digital platforms, retail integration, campaign development, event activation, and customer engagement across all business units, including Legend, VETTA, Pulse, Halo, and Uttern.

“He’s not just running campaigns, he’s setting the tone for how we connect with customers, tell our story, and support our partners,” Dewar continued. “We’ll also be building support around him so he can focus more on vision and execution at the strategic level.”

Thomas will continue to report to the executive team while leading a growing marketing department based out of the company’s headquarters in Whitefish, Ontario.

“Legend Boats is a brand built on memories, family, and real value,” said Thomas Groves. “I’m honoured to help lead the next chapter of our story and continue building meaningful experiences with our team, our partners, and our customers.”

About Legend Boats

Legend Boats also owns and manages 4 dealerships, 3 of their dealerships in Ontario and 1 other dealership in Montreal, Quebec. “Managing dealerships ourselves allows us to gain first-hand feedback and input on what our customers really like about our boats,” says Marc Duhamel, President and Co-CEO of Legend Boats. “It offers us a testing-ground to execute our systems and share our proven processes and successes with our Partner Network across Canada.”

An anchoring system has two parts: the anchor itself and the rode which connects the anchor to the boat. To be effective, an anchor must have good holding power, and the rode must be strong enough to withstand the strains that are put on it.
