E1 Reveals Race Calendar for 2026 Season

December 2, 2025

E1 Series, the world’s first all-electric raceboat Championship, has announced its 2026 season calendar that will see the world’s fastest electric boats compete across four continents in its third season.

The UIM E1 World Championship presented by PIF begins its eight race 2026 season in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

The series then starts its European leg in April with E1’s return to the beautiful setting of Lake Como, Italy, followed by Dubrovnik, Croatia in June. Then the Championship heads to the glamour and iconic shores of Monaco in mid-July which will see new entrant Team Monaco compete in front of its home crowd for the first time.

From there, E1 travels to the African continent with a return to Lagos, Nigeria, which delivered record crowds and an electric atmosphere when it first visited in 2025.

The season will then conclude in North America, further establishing the Championship’s foothold on the continent. The penultimate round sees E1 return to Miami, now hosting its second US race for an electrifying celebration of speed and innovation.

The 2026 season finale will take place in the Bahamas, marking E1’s first-ever race in the Caribbean. This marks an exciting new chapter for E1, racing in a place that captures the spirit of ocean adventure, vibrant culture and sustainable living that defines the Championship’s ethos.

The 2026 season builds on E1’s growing success and global momentum, following a landmark 2025 campaign that saw sell-out crowds, new E1 teams and celebrity team owners, and the E1 RaceBirds pushing the limits of electric propulsion technology.

E1 continues to attract high-profile, celebrity-backed team owners, including Tom Brady, LeBron James and Rafael Nadal. Their involvement helps amplify E1’s mission to combine sustainable innovation with thrilling on-water racing.

By partnering with personalities who share a passion for performance, entertainment, and cutting-edge technology, E1 inspires fans and communities around the world.

The calendar reflects a truly international Championship with sustainability, entertainment and innovation at its core and one that is now broadcast in over 140 territories.

Alejandro Agag, founder and Chairman of E1, said: “The 2026 E1 calendar marks an exciting new chapter for us. We’re rapidly establishing an exciting, truly global Championship that combines cutting-edge electric innovation with iconic coastal cities and new markets.

“With incredible support from our team owners – including Will Smith, Tom Brady, LeBron James, Rafael Nadal, and Steve Aoki – we’re bringing the thrill of high-speed racing on water to new and existing fans across the world.”

Rodi Basso, founder and CEO of E1, added: “Our vision for E1 has always been to inspire change through competition. This calendar showcases that ambition – reaching more countries, engaging more fans, and continuing to demonstrate that electric marine mobility is the future.

“With every season, E1 is not only growing as a sport but showing what’s possible when sport drives sustainability forward.”

Good Advice that You Can Share – The Art of Anchoring

Unless a boat is secured, it will drift away. If it cannot be attached to something secure, such as a dock, piling, mooring buoy, tree, or boulder, it must be anchored. There is much more to anchoring than simply tossing the anchor over the side.

An anchoring system has two parts: the anchor itself and the rode which connects the anchor to the boat. To be effective, an anchor must have good holding power, and the rode must be strong enough to withstand the strains that are put on it.
