ABYC Standards Week is almost here! January 11–15, 2026

January 6, 2026

It’s the most wonderful time of the year –Standards Week! On January 11th, 2026, industry experts will be gathering in Charleston, SC and participating online, to discuss updates to the upcoming Standards. And there’s still a chance for YOU to participate in making boating safer! Register today, and join us at the Francis Marion Hotel in Charleston, January 11–15.
Beyond the Project Technical Committee (PTC) meetings, join us for a new exploratory subcommittee meeting focused on e-foils and powered surfboards, and the ABYC Annual Meeting, all FREE to attend!

Standards Week is a pivotal gathering for the marine industry and Project Technical Committees (PTCs), with daily meetings scheduled to discuss updates to Supplement 66 of the Standards and Technical Information Reports for Small Craft, set for publication in July 2026. Participants have a voice in the development of the revised or newly considered standards and their potential impact on the boating industry.

Participation in ABYC events is not limited to PTC members. Registration is free and ABYC welcomes new attendees to its events, and offers virtual options for those who cannot attend in person.
