Greenline Yachts Reveals that Work is Far Advanced on Building a New 50-footer
June 30, 2026
– Greenline 50 will replace Greenline 48
– Flexible three-cabin layout
– Huge aft locker or crew cabin – the choice is yours!
– Hybrid or diesel propulsion options
Greenline Yachts has unveiled designs for a new 50ft model in its hugely successful range of hybrid cruising yachts. The Greenline 50 will replace the existing Greenline 48, which has been one of the yard’s top-sellers for more than a decade. While the new boat serves a similar segment of the market, it will be bigger, sleeker and include a host of new features.
The first hull in the new model is already nearing the end of its build process, with launch at Portoroz, Slovenia scheduled for the late summer.
“I am very proud to be so close to launching the new Greenline 50,” said Greenline Yachts owner Vladimir Zinchenko. “It has always been part of our philosophy to build timeless boats on a robust, proven technical platform, so that each model has a long lifespan. The launch of a new model is therefore a rare occurrence at Greenline Yachts, and the occasion of mixed emotions as we bid farewell to a familiar friend. However, we have done a fantastic job with the Greenline 50, and I am certain that she will still form a key part of our range in a decade’s time.”
Every new boat draws lessons from its predecessors, so the Greenline 50 is a clear evolution of the brand’s DNA and celebrated design language. Its tall, safe bulwarks, the dynamic swept-back superstructure, bright spaces and flexible hybrid drives are all pure Greenline. And, like its predecessor, the new boat offers three versatile cabins that can be arranged as twins or doubles, and up to three bathrooms.
