Mercury Marine

Mercury Marine Canada and Crelogix Acceptance Corporation announced today a new partnership which will see the creation and implementation of a new consumer finance program for Mercury’s Canadian consumers.

“This new partnership will allow Mercury Marine’s Canadian dealers to offer their customers a quick and easy financing option applicable to the purchase of all new and used Mercury Marine products. The program will cover all Mercury products including Mercury Outboards, MerCruiser, Sport Jets, MotorGuide Electric Trolling Motors, and Inflatable boats. Also for the first time, a consumer can finance Mercury parts and accessories, as well as services including PDI, labour charges, warranty and insurance all under one affordable month payment plan,” said Georges Jalbert, General Manager for Mercury Marine Canada.

The program offers Mercury’s customers the option of financing purchases between $5,000 and $25,000 over an 84 to 120 month period, while also allowing them the flexibility to prepay or restructure their loans at any time without penalty.

“We are looking forward to working with Mercury Marine to service Canadian boat enthusiasts, who account for over one-third of Canada’s population. This partnership enables us to offer affordable financing options for marine products to Canadian customers looking to purchase a new engine, simply replace the one they have, or add on some accessories,” said Serge Maheux, Managing Director of Power Products of Crelogix.

The new program will be rolled out to all Mercury Marine Canada dealers over the next few weeks, and be available to consumers on May 12, 2014.

The association is very well supported and virtually any significant marine electronics company that you could name, was represented there on the Exhibitor list at the Expo as well as all being NMEA members and very supportive of the organization.
