SALES AND SERVICE PARTNERSHIP WITH HURST MARINA AND ED HUCK MARINE

Ed Huck Marine

For many years now Hurst Marina has built up a significant presence in the 1000 Islands and Lake Ontario with an “At Your Dock Service” featuring well equipped service vans and expert technicians. Through this Hurst has developed a successful service relationship with the historic third generation marina Ed Huck Marine (EHM).

EHM is located in Rockport, the hub of the 1000 Islands and provides full marina services to the populations that reside along the 401 corridor that connects Montreal and Toronto. It’s thought the culture in this area requires Hurst to make a commitment to maintaining a greater presence in order to sell more boats there. Hurst wants to capture the loyalty of the boaters that enjoy the waterways to the south of Ottawa.

Forming a partnership with EHM allows Hurst to extend its reach from their current location on the Rideau without compromising standards. EHM agrees the goal of this partnership is to further enhance the Sea Ray and Meridian brands in the 1000 islands. Hurst and EHM have drawn up an agreement that includes each other into their sales teams and allows Hurst to display and demo Meridian and Sea Ray Sport Cruisers and Yachts on bigger water.
Hurst Marina
“Being able to harness the expertise of a third generation business, in a way that benefits both parties, is a formula that has already proven to be worthwhile” says Mark Hurst co-owner of Hurst Marina.

Scott MacCrimmon, co-owner of EHM, has already sold a 37 foot Sea Ray Sundancer to an existing EHM customer who had never been to Hurst Marina’s dealership. This customer had previously only shopped south of the border for his boat purchases.

Going into this new era of boat sales and service, Hurst Marina has a renewed commitment to be the best and to meet the expectations of the best. Proof will be in the results.

Come help us make it happen and join us at Ed Huck Marine on June 8th and 9th for an on-water boat show and season opening reception.
