Introducing the Boating Industry Canada Marine Graduate Series

Apr 26, 2022

Boating Industry Canada (BIC) is proud to introduce a new editorial feature to help raise the profile of Canadian marine education students and graduates. Currently in Canada, there are only a handful of marine education programs that serve the marine service industry.

Our unique industry frequently gets lost in the overall marine world and worthy graduates have not enjoyed the public accolades they deserve, as highly accredited Marine Service Technician graduates.

To address this and to aid in raising awareness of both the students and their schools, we plan to highlight a graduate from one of these unique programs every month in the future, in Boating Industry Canada.

By profiling these graduates, we will be emphasizing their marine industry training and recognizing the skills these graduates gain as well as the range and benefits of careers available. As the first in the new Boating Industry Canada Marine Graduate Series, we profile Kimberly Kelly in this edition.

If you know of a deserving marine industry student or graduate, we would welcome an email introduction for a possible profile story in an upcoming edition of Boating Industry Canada News Week Digest. Send your email to Allegra Smith-Herriot at: asmithherriot@kerrwil.com

And, remember to do two things; first, have your whole team sign up for a free weekly Boating Industry Canada News Week Digest subscription at www.boatingindustry.ca/subscribe

Second, take advantage of the Career Opportunities section at the bottom of every Boating Industry Canada News Week Digest. It’s free to post your career opportunities and it’s good business to help all our industry colleagues to succeed in their careers.
