Maple Leaf Marinas expands reach with acquisition of Port Sandfield Marina

Port Sandfield Marina

June 18, 2024

Maple Leaf Marinas recently marked a significant milestone by acquiring its 20th marina location: the iconic Port Sandfield Marina located in Muskoka at the junction of Lake Joseph and Lake Rosseau. With a heritage spanning over 70 years, Port Sandfield Marina has been a vital part of Muskoka’s boating culture, known for its exceptional service and top-notch facilities. This strategic acquisition, completed in April 2024, heralds an exciting new chapter for the marina, under the continued stewardship of its longstanding owners, Jonathan and Nada Blair.

Jonathan and Nada, whose leadership has been crucial to the marina’s success, will remain at the helm, ensuring a smooth transition and continuity for patrons. The marina will also welcome new team members, including Brian Schieck as Sales Manager and Randy Eveleigh as

Assistant General Manager. Brian Schieck brings extensive sales experience and a strong commitment to customer satisfaction, while Randy Eveleigh’s dedication to service excellence, promises to uphold the marina’s renowned service standards.

One of the most anticipated developments from this acquisition is the expansion of boat sales offerings. Port Sandfield Marina will now feature MasterCraft Boats to pair with existing brand Regal Boats, providing customers with a broader selection of premium watercraft to choose from. This addition ensures that boating enthusiasts can choose from the sleek sophistication and hand-crafted excellence of Regal Boats, or rule the water with the cutting-edge performance of MasterCraft Boats.

Dave Rozycki, President of Maple Leaf Marinas, expressed his excitement about the acquisition, stating, “We are thrilled to welcome Port Sandfield Marina into the Maple Leaf Marinas family. With its rich history and commitment to excellence, Port Sandfield perfectly embodies the values we hold dear. We look forward to building upon its legacy and providing an unparalleled boating experience to our customers.”

With the boating season now underway, the acquisition of Port Sandfield Marina signals a new era of growth and opportunity for Maple Leaf Marinas. Boaters can look forward to enhanced service, an unparalleled selection of watercraft brands, and an unforgettable experience on the pristine waters of Muskoka.
